REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR
General
Business Consultants, Inc. (GBC®) is seeking an experienced, driven,
self-motivated regional sales director to develop new business
throughout the continental
United States
. Position available for designated GBC market regions.
The position has
responsibility for meeting and exceeding revenue target goals. The
position also has accountability for generating new business and
managing general sales activities for a defined geographical region of
the
U.S.
The core responsibility is the sale of business advisory services,
systems integration solutions and technology-driven services to
entrepreneurial, small and medium businesses. The successful applicant
must establish a positive business image for the company realizing
forecasted revenues, quotas, metrics and customer growth projections in
the designated region.

· Lead the
coordination of all relevant internal departments in preparation of new
business, cost/price development and process reporting to executive
management.
· Keep abreast
of market conditions in the industry.
· A
minimum of 7 years experience in sales and/or sales management
performing cold-calling, appointment setting, sales calls and account
management activities.
· A
proven record in closing deals is mandatory.
· Excellent
professional presentation and communication skills required.
· Experience
with selling in the information technology industry is preferred.
· Experience
with implementation schedules for hardware and software deployments.
· Technical
aptitude is essential as it relates to systems selection and
implementation.
· Vast
knowledge in identifying business risk and contingency planning is
required.
· Bachelor’s
degree required.
· Master’s
degree preferred.

Person must be trustworthy, candid, courageous,
self reliant, initiative and results oriented, accountable, aggressive
and able to work in a fast moving environment.
