Preston Williams hands over leadership at GBC...

After several years of leadership, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of North Carolina based GBC® (General Business Consultants Inc.), Preston G.M. Williams III, has left the role of Managing Partner to pursue other interests. Mr. Williams continues as a Senior Partner and Executive Consultant with GBC® Global Services.

Mr. Williams, a renowned information technology executive with past ties to IBM Global Services, Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Price Waterhouse (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) founded GBC® in 2002 to deliver system integration services to a matrix of global clients.

The systems integration firm named Associate Partner Albert Cicirro as Williams’ replacement. A statement issued by the board said that Mr. Cicirro’s "combination of technical and business expertise makes him well suited to lead the company in its expansion efforts."

Mr. Cicirro will join the GBC® Board of Directors as Executive Vice Chairman. The board expressed thanks and appreciation to Mr. Williams for his service since founding and growing the multi-national information technology firm. Mr. Williams will remain on the Board as Chairman.
