Preston Williams hands over leadership at GBC...

After several years of leadership, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of North Carolina based GBC® Global Services, Preston Williams III, has left the role of Managing Partner to pursue other interests. Mr. Williams continues as Senior Partner and Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Mr. Williams , a renowned information technology executive with past ties to Price Waterhouse (PriceWaterhouseCoopers), Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and IBM Global Services founded General Business Consultants, Inc. (GBC®) in 2002 to deliver system integration services to a matrix of global clients.

The systems integration firm named Associate Partner, Albert Cicirro as Williams replacement. A statement issued by the board said that Mr. Cicirro's "combination technical and business expertise makes him well suited to lead the company in its expansion efforts".

Mr. Cicirro will join the GBC® Board of Directors as Executive Vice Chairman. The board expressed thanks and appreciation to Mr. Williams for his service since founding and growing the multi-national information technology company. Mr. Williams will remain on the Board as Chairman.
