IT SPECIALIST

GBC® is seeking a Computer/LAN/IT Specialist: Skilled in all aspects of IT support including workstation management, LAN management, and problem solving for knowledge worker personnel.  

· Must know various Network Operating Platforms: Novell LAN/WAN administration including NetWare, server configuration. Ability to administer Win2000 servers also required.
· Must have experience/skill in router/switch configuration (Cisco) and setup as well as ISP, T1, and WAN service administration. MCSE, CNE or Cisco certification preferred).
· Must also be able to find, troubleshoot and correct network problems; design and maintain large scale data backup solutions; design and maintain network security plans setting up and administering VPNs and network firewalls.
· Must have knowledge of heterogeneous networks (Win, Unix, Mac) and in administering Microsoft Exchange e-mail server, SMTP and POP3 email applications.
· Enthusiastic, driven and confident; ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the company’s mission, services and commitment to excellence.
· Must have good people skills to work with and train h/w-s/w support staff.
